Can be sown direct to the garden after final spring frost. Sow 6-13mm (¼-½”) deep in to warm (20°C/68°F), well drained soil. Germination up to 21 days. Thin as required to final plant spacing. Water and deadhead regularly. For earlier flowers, start indoors 6-8 weeks before final frost into pots of well drained soil or compost. Keep moist. Thin to the strongest plant. Harden off and transplant after final spring frost.
