Established in 1980, Footprint Tools Canada Limited began as a Manufacturer’s Sales Agency and Warehouse Distributor, exclusively marketing and distributing the products of Footprint Tools Limited, a respected hand tool manufacturer based in Sheffield, England.

To meet growing demand, they expanded their portfolio with additional hand tool lines from leading manufacturers in both England and the United States, offering Canadian customers a broader selection of high-quality tools.

In 2013, the corporate name changed to Footprint Products Limited, reflecting their evolution into new product categories beyond tools. From their head office and warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, they now provide national coverage, supplying nearly every major retailer and distributor across Canada.

Since 1998, the Fothergill’s brand of flower and vegetable seed packets has been available to Canadian hobby gardeners. In 2020, Footprint Products became the exclusive Canadian distributor for Fothergill’s Seeds. Since taking on the brand, we've worked with Footprint Products to develop the product offering and enhance the in-store seed displays to better align with the needs of the Canadian gardening market.
